Batman: A Death in the Family Masterpost
“A Death in the Family” is a Batman comic book story arc first published in the late 1980s which gave fans the ability to influence the story through voting with a 900 number. “A Death in the Family” ran in Batman #426-429, published in 1988-1989.
“A Lonely Place of Dying” is a Batman comic book story arc published issues after “A Death in the Family”s run introducing the character Tim Drake and Bruce Wayne’s rash and uncontrollable behavior.
I included both stories since both are important (and if you were to buy any of the books linked on the bottom “A Lonely Place of Dying” would be included and thus I felt to include it here as well) in the Batman story arc, you have the fall of one Robin and rise of another.
